The Ministry of Culture and Information Policy in Ukraine has reported that 863 cultural heritage sites have suffered destruction or damage as a consequence of the Russian invasion. The affected sites include 119 monuments of national significance, 674 of local importance, and 70 newly discovered locations. The damage spans various categories, such as architecture, history, urban planning, and more. With 23 monuments completely destroyed, 663 partially damaged, and the extent of harm to 177 sites unknown, efforts are underway to address the significant cultural loss. Kharkiv, Odesa, and Donetsk regions witnessed the most substantial impact, prompting the Ministry to propose ALIPH’s involvement in the restoration of these cultural landmarks
