Ltd Ukrainska Bronetekhnika, also known as “Ukrainian Armour,” is set to enhance its production capabilities by constructing a new artillery ammunition factory in Ukraine. Vladyslav Belbas, CEO of the company, announced plans to significantly boost the supply volume of artillery munitions with this new facility.
The new plant will focus on producing a range of ammunition types, though it will not include Soviet-style 152-mm projectiles. Currently, Ukrainska Bronetekhnika manufactures hundreds of thousands of rounds annually, including 60 mm to 120 mm artillery shells, with a substantial increase in domestic component use. The company’s mortar production is operating at full capacity through the end of 2024, with future production already in high demand.
This expansion reflects the company’s commitment to strengthening Ukraine’s defense capabilities and its ongoing role in the country’s defense industry.
