In a significant confrontation, Ukraine successfully thwarted 74 out of 75 drones launched by Russia during a large-scale attack on November 25, as reported by the Air Force. The downed drones, identified as Iranian-made Shahed models, were neutralized primarily by Ukrainian mobile fire groups, showcasing their effectiveness in reconnaissance and engaging airborne threats. With a remarkable ability to deploy rapidly within 10 minutes and maneuver across diverse terrains, these mobile units played a pivotal role in the defense. The origin of the four drones that evaded interception remains unclear. Launched from Kursk Oblast and Primorsko-Akhtarsk, the Russian assault predominantly targeted Kyiv, prompting air raid alarms in six Ukrainian regions. The attack resulted in power outages, injuries, and damage to numerous buildings in Kyiv, marking the most intense assault on the capital since the onset of the full-scale invasion, lasting for six hours.
