The White House has developed a comprehensive strategy to strengthen Ukraine’s military capabilities in response to ongoing conflict with Russia. National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan announced plans to supply Ukraine with substantial military aid, including hundreds of thousands of artillery rounds, rockets, and armored vehicles by mid-January. Additionally, the U.S. will assist in training new Ukrainian troops abroad and is preparing nearly $20 billion in loans, funded by profits from immobilized Russian assets. New sanctions against Russia are also planned to constrain its military efforts, ultimately aiming to improve Ukraine’s negotiation leverage for future settlements.
