Ukraine decided to create a single information hub to help military journalists and Ukrainian and international correspondents report on frontline developments and the use of partner-supplied weapons, according to the President's Office statement of July 21, 2022, also reported by LB.ua.
The announcement followed a telephone conversation involving President's Office head Andriy Yermak, Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief Valerii Zaluzhny, US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan and Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman General Mark Milley.
The officials discussed the situation at the front and Ukraine's needs in resisting Russia's invasion. Yermak said military briefings for representatives of international partners were continuing.
The planned hub was intended to speed up communication about the war and military assistance. The statement described a decision to establish it, not confirmation that a fully operational service had already launched.
