A new Ukrainian brigade is completing training in France. The Anne of Kyiv brigade will consist of 4,500 soldiers formed from infantry battalions, as well as engineers, artillery units and other specialists, as previously stated by the French authorities. More than 2,000 soldiers are undergoing the last steps of training before going back to Ukraine.
According to South Korean intelligence, North Korean troops deployed to Russia have moved to the frontline region of Kursk and are “already engaging in combat” against Ukraine. The South Korean spy agency disclosed the information a day after North Korea reported leader Kim Jong-un’s ratification of a mutual defence treaty that he signed with Russian President Vladimir Putin in June. The treaty, which commits the two nations to providing military aid to each other in the event of war, has pushed the countries’ relations to new heights.
