Russia targeting the indigenous Crimean Tatar people, specifically through the “Hizb ut-Tahrir case,” which has led to the prosecution of 117 individuals since 2014, with 114 of them being Crimean Tatars. Among those prosecuted, 82 are currently imprisoned, 28 are in pre-trial detention, 2 are under house arrest, and 5 have been released.
