The German military procurement office, BAAINBw, has commissioned Rheinmetall Project Solutions GmbH to deliver 149 mobile medical aid stations under a framework contract signed in December 2024. Of the 149 stabilization points ordered, 112 units will be equipped with ballistic armor protection, while the remaining units will be delivered without such protection. Each mobile medical unit comprises two containers, a connecting component, and a dedicated transport system, ensuring rapid deployment and assembly in the field. These units form part of the Modular Medical Facilities (MSE) project and represent the first level of NATO’s Deployment Health Surveillance (DHS) program, which aims to deliver emergency surgery and primary care directly at the point of need.<\/p>\n
