An estimated 6.3 million individuals worldwide will die of HIV/AIDS by 2029, and the infection will spread to millions more if the US permanently halts the US President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR). Ukraine has the 2nd-highest number of HIV cases in Europe.
