On September 16, Russian forces launched airstrikes targeting two settlements in Kharkiv Oblast: the city of Bohodukhiv and the village of Podoly. The attack on Bohodukhiv, which occurred around 16:45, caused significant damage to an agricultural company, equipment, and at least 25 residential buildings. A 50-year-old woman suffered from acute stress as a result of the strike. Preliminary reports suggest that the city was hit by three KAB-250 guided aerial bombs. Shortly after, at 17:00, Russian troops struck the village of Podoly in the Kupiansk district, injuring a 63-year-old man and damaging private households. Ukrainian authorities, under the supervision of the Kharkiv Oblast Prosecutor’s Office, have launched investigations into violations of the laws and customs of war, as these attacks are being examined as potential war crimes.
