Recent satellite images have unveiled the extensive damage caused by Ukrainian drone strikes on a Russian ammunition depot in the Tver region. Released by Radio Liberty’s Schemes project and captured by Planet Labs, the images depict the aftermath of the attacks on September 18.

The targeted depot, located in Toropets, Tver region, was a significant military site, housing missiles for Iskander and Tochka-U systems, as well as KAB aerial guided bombs and artillery rounds. The strike, executed by drones from Ukraine’s SBU security service, GUR defense intelligence, and Special Operations Forces, led to massive explosions that affected surrounding areas.

Reports indicate that the explosion prompted partial evacuations in nearby settlements and triggered seismic activity across four Russian regions. This strategic strike underscores the ongoing intensity of the conflict and highlights the effectiveness of Ukraine’s drone capabilities in disrupting Russian military operations.
