In the last 24 hours, a staggering 187 combat clashes erupted across Ukraine’s frontlines, with the fiercest battles occurring near Pokrovsk and Kurakhove. Ukraine’s defenders remain resilient, repelling relentless Russian assaults while witnessing the peculiar devastation of Russian forces attacking their own settlements in Kursk Oblast with guided bombs.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russian aircraft dropped 39 bombs in Kursk, hitting their own cities and villages. Meanwhile, Russian forces also conducted assaults on multiple fronts, with heavy air and artillery strikes causing significant damage to civilian areas, including in Kharkiv, Kupiansk, and Lyman.

Key hotspots include the Pokrovsk front, where 46 Russian attacks were thwarted, and the Kurakhove front, which saw 40 assaults repelled. Despite their attempts to break through Ukrainian defenses, Russian forces suffered heavy losses in personnel and equipment.

In addition to Kursk Oblast, Russian forces targeted border areas of Chernihiv and Sumy Oblasts, bombarding Ukrainian settlements with artillery and airstrikes from across the Russian border.

While Russia’s self-inflicted damage in Kursk Oblast continues, Ukraine’s defenders remain steadfast, dealing heavy blows to the invaders and weakening their offensive capabilities.
