Four servals, which zoo activists took out of the Russian-occupied city of Kurakhove in the Donetsk region last year and transferred to KyivZoo, underwent treatment, rehabilitation and socialization. This was reported by the Kyiv Zoo.<\/p>\n
According to zoo specialists, the animals were in a terrible condition: sick, exhausted and experiencing severe stress. During this year, they have gone through a long path of treatment, rehabilitation and socialization. After all, in addition to physical treatment, the seals needed to restore their disturbed psycho-emotional balance.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd now the spotted Osiris, Sekhmet, Horus and Isis have settled into their new comfortable homes. They are equipped with: African trees with climbing frames and claws, hammocks, cozy lofts for relaxation, drinking fountains, different types of soil and stone rocks for walking and jumping. And there are also a lot of different toys and pillows for cat entertainment,\u201d the KyivZoo post says.<\/p>\n
To bring the conditions closer to natural ones, 3 types of lighting have been installed in the enclosures: solar-daylight, twilight-infrared, and night moonlight.<\/p>\n
