The Holodomor, a man-made famine that led to millions of Ukrainian deaths, occurred during Stalin’s leadership of the Soviet Union. A recent report by human rights law firm Global Rights Compliance revealed evidence of Putin’s premeditated strategy to starve Ukrainians and target food infrastructure prior to the February 2022 invasion.
