The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has released a disturbing intercepted conversation on Telegram, shedding light on the grim fate of Russian soldiers killed in action. According to the conversation, the bodies of these soldiers are being disposed of in makeshift dumps.
In the intercepted call, a Russian occupier describes a scene where bodies are piled up to human height, suggesting there are thousands. He explains that these bodies are simply discarded, making it easier to declare them ‘missing in action.’ This is not a morgue, but a vast dump site, fenced off and heavily guarded, where thousands of bodies are brought.
The conversation further reveals a case where an individual paid the guards to search for a relative’s remains at such a site near Donetsk. The guards reportedly earn significant sums by aiding relatives in locating their loved ones’ remains.
The SBU comments on the situation, urging the parents, wives, and relatives of the occupiers to consider whether they are willing to let their loved ones be devoured by dogs or left to rot in open fields. They suggest that perhaps efforts should be made to prevent their participation in this war altogether.
