The Avrora multimarket chain’s distribution center in Kyiv Oblast was destroyed, marking the second attack on the chain in a week.

In addition to the damage in Kyiv, explosions were reported in Odesa and Zaporizhzhia, injuring several people, including children. Infrastructure and residential buildings in Odesa were damaged, though no casualties were reported.

Ukraine’s air defense faced challenges intercepting the jet-powered drones, based on the Iran-designed Shahed platform. Despite these difficulties, the Air Force successfully shot down several ballistic missiles, marking a significant defensive achievement.

President Volodymyr Zelensky announced the arrival of additional interceptor missiles for the U.S.-made Patriot air defense system, crucial for countering ballistic missile threats. However, the ongoing conflict and global demand for these interceptors pose challenges for Ukraine’s defense capabilities.
